Do you want to really push yourself and your hockey skills? This camp will be a mixture of attacking and defending skills, small unit play and regular gameplay. It is aimed at talented players from Year 9 upwards who really want a challenge with other players of a similar level.
This camp will be open to GKs and outfield players and will take place at Taverham High School/Norwich City Hockey Club on Wednesday 22nd July between 10am and 3pm. It will offer good preparation for those playing at TA that weekend, a chance to get ready, polish up those skills and work on anything you want to focus on.
The camp will be led by Stu Field, with over 25 years of coaching experience, Stu has coached from club to junior international level with Wales, he’s has coached in the Single System, has lead hockey programmes in two independent schools and has coached in the National League. Stu is a Coach Developer with England and GB Hockey and will be Women’s 1st XI coach at Harleston Magpies for the 2026/27 season.
Cost of the camp is £45, there will be access to changing rooms, space for lunch, toilets, water refills etc but players need to bring their snacks, lunch and water bottle as well as the usual (shin pads, gum shield, GK kit if GK, stick etc.) Please bring sun cream and a coat as you never can predict the British weather!
